I only had a single moth in the Robinson
Trap when I processed it on the afternoon of Sunday 1 Dec 24. However, after I
eventually managed to identify it, it turned out to be quite a find. Although
not new for Hampshire it was new for Vice-county 11 (southern Hampshire), and the
first county record since 1967. With only three previous county records of four
individuals, all in VC 12 (northern Hampshire), it represented only the fourth county
record [Hants Moths website].
